What You Need: Small rock, wire (we used 22-gauge), small pliers, plastic lacing or other cord-type material.

How You Make It: Wrap wire securely around rock in a decorative fashion, being sure to include a loop at the top for the cord. Cut off end of wire and tuck/wrap excess. String through cording and knot.

What You Need: Bottlecap, various sequins (star-shaped is fun), “U,” S,” and “A” letter beads, white glue, self-adhesive pinback.

How You Make It: Spread thin layer of glue in bottlecap. Arrange letters and sequins however you’d like. Fill rest of bottlecap with glue. Let dry overnight (glue will dry clear, or a little cloudy.) If glue looks uneven, add more and let dry again. You could also use a higher-end craft project called dimensional glue, which dries clear with a smooth surface.
